Hannah Kay Stayner

Hannah Kay Stayner was born on Thursday November 30th, 2006, at 10:16 am PST, at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, California. Her mother, Kay Yang-Stayner, delivered a healthy baby girl via C-Section. Hannah is very healthy, and scored 9s on her APGARD scores. Kay is recovering well from the surgery, and Hannah has started nursing!

Kay and Matt dropped off Zachary before school at Gong Gong and Abuelita's house in Westchester, then headed to the familiar hospital near Beverly Hills, where Kay works as an Administrative Analyst in the Research Compliance department. We spent New Year's Day 2001 in the Labor & Delivery wing of the North Tower awaiting the arrival of Zachary Matthew Stayner. The kid just didn't want to arrive. So Kay was induced almost 2 weeks after his due date, and finally was delivered on January 2, 2001 at 2:46 am via emergency C-Section. Gratefully, mother and son survived that ordeal, and he is now a healthy 5 year old, about to celebrate his 6th birthday.
